Lickers at Hougang Avenue 1

On Sunday, we explored the Hougang Avenue 1, Lorong Ah Soo area and it was a great find! For those of you who have rabbits, you may have heard of Scruffiez. The owners of Scuffiez are a pair of fun-loving cousins who decided to set up a rabbit grooming store, selling pet supplies specialising in small animals.

While visiting the bunny shop, the owners of Scruffiez told us about an ice cream cafe just a stone's throw away.
Lickers specialise in home-made ice cream and waffles. When we stepped into the shop, we were greeted by the sweet aroma of freshly-baked waffles. We went on to try their ice cream flavours; so excited that we forgot to take photos of the ice cream... Guilty as charged!

According to the owners of Scruffiez, Lickers use less stabilisers in their homemade ice cream, which was why it started to melt when we were trying to get the perfect shot.

| We got a double scoop - hidden below is dark chocolate and the top is Speculoos. We highly recommend Speculoos - caramelised cookies - and Lychee Rose, a really refreshing sorbet! Perfect for cooling down on a sunny day. |

| Its walls are filled with framed artwork and modern brush calligraphy. They also provide free plain water if you'd like to cleanse your palate after the ice cream feast. We might have liked iced lemon water more. But hey, free drinks? We're not complaining! |
